
Homemade Lemonade

Lemonade 🍋
Ingredients
8 cups of water divided
1 and a 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
1 cup of fresh-squeezed lemon juice
4 lemons taking the inside of the lemon out and removing seeds.
(Keep all seeds and peels for another recipe)
In a food processor or blender add the 4 lemon fruit and 1 cup of lemon juice and blend together well.
Add the processed mixture to a large jug and add 6 cups of water.
In a pot on the stove add 2 cups of water and 1 and a 1/2 cups of sugar and bring mixture to a boil allowing all the sugar to melt. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Once cooled add the simple syrup to the jug and stir everything well to incorporate.
Refrigerate at least two hours before serving over ice.
