ROASTED GARLIC

Ingredients


  • 5 heads of garlic not peeled

  • Pinch of salt for each garlic head

  • 1 drizzle of olive oil for each garlic head


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Trim off the top of the garlic bulb to expose the cloves on the inside.

  2. Lay out a pieces of foil. Put the garlic on top and add a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. 

  3. Wrap the whole garlic in foil.

  4. Air fryer set to 400 degrees roast mode. Add the garlic.

  5. Roast garlic for 20 minutes. Carefully remove the Gaelic using oven mitts or tongs. Let it cool for 10 minutes.

  6. Once cooled, unwrap the foil. Starting at the base of the garlic bulb, squeeze out the cloves.


Store the roasted garlic in an air tight container in the fridge and cover them in olive oil. This will keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.


You can also freeze roasted garlic bulb to use for a different recipe.
