Vegan Caramel Sauce

This is a great caramel sauce for anyone to enjoy but if you're vegan or need a dairy free recipe, this is the one!!

Ingredients
3/4 cup of golden yellow sugar or brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon of pink salt
The thick cream ONLY from one can of coconut milk.
Instructions
Heat a pot on medium heat then add the sugar and heat until the sugar begins to lightly melt.

Remove from heat for a second and stir in coconut cream and salt. Add back to heat and stir until everything is smoothly incorporated.

Turn heat down to a simmer and allow to thicken. Stir every few minutes to check the consistency.

Once it begins to thicken, remove from heat and let cool a few minutes before pouring in a container to store in the fridge.

Enjoy on your favourite dessert or in a nice drink!
