Do you go to your local coffee shop and order a nice ice coffee to drink and feel bad because it's so darn expensive but so good??

Well this might be just the recipe you've been looking for. I'm all about the coffee šŸ˜‚ mind you unlike my husband, I can't drink it up until bedtime and still fall asleep!! 😐

With this recipe you're going to save a lot of money and time waiting for a drink you can create in minutes, right at home. 🤭

Ingredients

Cold coffee (I pour leftover brewed coffee into a jug and place it in the fridge and top it up daily)

Your choice of creamer or plant based milk

Crushed ice (I make ice cubes in a tray and then just used my blender to crush them down and add the extra to a freezer bag and into the freezer for another drink)

Brown sugar syrup

For the recipe you use 1/2 to 1 tablespoons (depending on how sweet you like your drink, use less if you want)

In a small pot add

1 cup of water

1 cup of brown sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

Stir well and bring to a boil stirring in between yo make sure the sugar all melts, remove from heat and allow to cool. Add to a sealed container and place in the fridge. Will be good up to a week, stir/shake before using in between drinks.

Instructions are simple

In a sealed container add your brown sugar syrup and 1/2 cup of brewed cold coffee and some crushed ice. Close container and shake until it's frothy.

In a separate sealed container add your choice of a 1/4 cup of cream of plant based milk with crushed ice, seal container and shake until frothy.

In a glass add your shaken coffee and then top with the frothy cream/milk.

Stir and enjoy šŸ˜‰
